The AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships provide a learning opportunity to explore the intersection of science and policy. Fellows bring a common interest in learning about science policy and a willingness to apply their training in new arenas. Fellows serve in yearlong assignments in congressional offices and federal agencies in the Washington, D.C. region.
AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships is pleased to announce the launch of a new program area. The Big Data & Analytics program track will focus on a broad range of policy making and implementation challenges by applying analytical skills to data and trend analysis issues from infrastructure, technology, quality control, and presentation, to security, integrity, and ethics. Anticipated placement opportunities include any federal agency in Washington, D.C. that partners with the AAAS S&T Policy Fellowships®. The program is open to applicants who hold a doctoral level degree in any scientific, social science, health/medical or engineering discipline.
